MMP doesn't add more tutoring hours. It removes the conditions causing repeated failure.
What Actually Happens in MMP?
MMP sessions aren't lessons. They are interventions.
When a student enters a session, I do not teach content by syllabus. I diagnose where their thinking and execution breaks down, and correcting it.
This might look like:
- Watching them work through a problem on the spot, and pointing out the exact moment their plan collapses (and why).
- Asking questions that expose gaps in their understading they didn't know existed ("You got the right answer, but do you know how to explain it?")
- Teaching them how to annotate diagrams so that their brain don't have to hold everything in working memory.
- Showing them how to use the Masterplan framework to reduce panic, when seeing an unfamiliar question type.
Sessions are 60-120 minutes, depending on pedagogical need.
Students book sessions when they need help, not binded by a weekly rhythm. This builds crucial metarecognition: knowing when they are stuck, when do they need help, and how to ask for it clearly.
How Progress is Measured
(Beyond Exam Scores)
Most tutoring measures success one way: did the grade go up?
But if we only wait for exam results to know if something's working, we've wasted months.
MMP tracks the growth of ability in real time after every session.
Every session is documented in your learning dashboard across 4 dimensions.
Progress shows up here first, usually within 4-8 weeks, before it translates to exam performance.
This is how you know your child is making progress, even when grades haven't moved yet.
Conceptual Understanding
Can they explain ideas in their own words? Make connections between topics? Recognize when something doesn't make sense?
Problem-Solving Capability
Are they internalizing the MasterPlan steps? Can they apply systematic thinking to unfamiliar problems without constant prompting?
Learning Independence
Are they asking better questions over time? Catching their own errors? Needing less scaffolding to get unstuck?
Confidence and Engagement
Are they more willing to struggle productively? Less anxious about math? Taking initiative instead of waiting to be told what to do?
The MMP Journey
Step 1: Start with Foundations (If You Haven't Already)
Before MMP, most families start here:

Why? Because MMP assumes you already know the framework.
Without it, your first session becomes a $150 tutorial instead of strategic intervention.
You can skip this if you're willing to learn the framework during MMP, but it's not the most efficient use of session time.
Step 2: Book Free Assessment Call (15-20mins)
We discuss:
- Your child's current situation and timeline
- What's been tried already and why it's not working
- Whether MMP aligns with what you actually need
Not every family proceeds to MMP. That's the point of assessment- determining fit, not convincing you to join.

The 6-step system is applied across all sessions (assumes you've read the Playbook first).

What's Not Included in All Paths
✗ Fixed Weekly Schedule
MMP is not weekly tutoring. Sessions are booked when the student needs support, not on a rigid calendar.
✗ Syllabus Coverage Guarantees
We don't promise to "finish Topic X by Week Y" or guarantee specific exam grades.
✗ Unlimited Messaging / 24/7 Support
Sessions are the primary intervention mechanism. Between-session questions go in the dashboard portal, addressed in next session or async when appropriate.
✗ Session Rollover
Unused sessions don't carry over. Each package is time-bound and session-capped.
If you reach your session cap before the engagement period ends (e.g., use all 8 Discipline sessions in Month 2), additional sessions are available at $180 each, 20% premium over baseline.
This rarely happens when students book strategically, but it's available if needed.
✗ Mid-Engagement Upgrades
You can't upgrade from Initiation to Discipline mid-month. Each package is a discrete commitment.
