About MathSifu

A Steady Presence in Learning.

I'm Moses, an educator and mentor working with students through Mathematics. My focus is not only on academic progress, but on how a child thinks, judges, and responds when facing uncertainty on their own.

Over time, I’ve seen that many learning struggles are not due to lack of ability, but a lack of calm, clarity, and confidence in thinking independently.

My work centres on creating the conditions where those qualities can develop.

My Role as an Educator

I don’t rush students to perform, and I don’t rely on pressure to produce results.

Instead, I guide students to slow down, reflect, and engage more deliberately with their learning.

This builds stronger judgment, resilience, and self-trust over time.

My role is to hold the learning environment steady, so students can gradually take ownership of their thinking and progress.

Experience & Background

I’ve worked with students across primary and secondary levels, supporting them through both academic challenges and shifts in learning mindset.

While mathematics is the subject through which I work, the deeper aim is always the same: to help students think more clearly and confidently when they are on their own.

My work includes one-to-one on-demand mentorship, structured programmes, and the development of independent learning resources.

A Quiet Commitment

I believe learning is most effective when it is approached with patience, responsibility, and mutual respect.

This is the standard I hold for my work, and the environment I aim to create for every student I mentor.
